Outreach
I held a strong passion for outreach activities. I've participated in the International Astronomy Day event supported by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) Victoria Centre and the University of Victoria (UVic) Department of Physics and Astronomy. At the event, I delivered an outreach talk on the topic of finding exoplanets and actively engaged in the "Ask an Astronomer" activity.
Out of Academia
I have a keen interest in a diverse range of dance forms, encompassing Classical Chinese dance, Ballet, Contemporary, and Modern styles. Currently, my primary focus is on Chinese dance, and I have been a dancer at Yi Dance School in Markham, Ontario, from 2014 to 2020.
Beyond dancing, I am enthusiastic about dance education. I am a certified teacher for grades one to three of the Chinese Dance Examination Syllabus (CDES). While I may not consider myself a strong dancer, my passion for dancing is unwavering.
